DIY- Waxing at home

Hey my lovely friends…
How are you all?
I know I haven’t posted in a while, and I am really sorry for that as I was busy with some of my personal works.
Any ways as you have already read the topic, today we will talk about waxing at home easily without any professional help.
But before knowing about the steps to do waxing at home I want to tell you all about some do’s and don’ts about waxing at home which are really essential to know before starting waxing….
DO’s of waxing at home:
  • Do clean your skin before starting waxing.
  • Do use clean strips and waxing stick.
  • Do apply powder before waxing as it will remove any moisture from skin.
  • Do apply baby oil after waxing as it will remove any left-over wax from your skin and will bring the moisture back to your skin.:)
  • Exfoliate your skin before and after waxing to make your skin glow and it will help wax to remove hair a little easily.
  • Dab your skin after removing every hair section to soothe your skin and hair roots.
  • Apply wax when it is, medium hot (which will not burn your skin).
  • Apply wax in the direction of the hair growth and pull of the strip in the opposite direction.
  • Try to stay parallel to your skin when pulling your strip out.

DON’T’s of waxing at home:
  • Don’t wax at any irritated/ burnt/or wounded skin.
  • Don’t use metal spatula as when it is dipped in hot wax it gets hot and when you apply wax at your skin it might burn your skin as wax might not be that hot when applied but spatula will be.
  • Never apply wax more than twice at particular skin.
  • Don’t pluck out the hair if left or its roots left after waxing as it may infect your skin.
  • Never do waxing if your hair is less than ¼ inch or more than ¾ inch(if shorter it won’t come out easily and if longer it will pain you a lot)
  • Always take care of your surrounding when waxing there should not be any child or old age people because it might be risky if it falls on their skin, it will burn their skin as both age people have sensitive skins
  • Don’t try to remove any single or few hairs left unremoved by razor on the same day of waxing as it might cut your skin or infect it.
  • Don’t do bikini waxing 2 3 days before periods as skin is at its most sensitive time.

In my opinion you should go to professionals when you have to do back, bikini or even underarms waxing, but you can go for arms and legs and face by yourself.(but by proper precautions)
Now you know everything let’s jump to steps:
  1. Start by heating your wax and preparing your sitting place with every essentials which is needed in waxing as you cannot jump here and there while waxing.
  2. Clean your skin area properly removing any dirt, sweat or water.
  3. Now apply powder at your skin nicely.
  4. Take a small amount of wax in your wooden waxing stick (clean ice cream stick) and apply it on your skin in the direction hair is growing.
  5. Now take one clean strip and apply it in the direction you applied wax.
  6. After that rub gently over the strip to make wax get into the roots of hair.
  7. And now the painful moment, pull of your strip to the opposite direction to your hair growth.
  8. Quickly dab your waxed skin.
  9. Keep on continuing the same steps and after you are done waxing apply some baby oil and clean your skin.
  10. After sometime wash your skin with lukewarm water and apply some moisturiser.

And voila you are done! : ) <3

DIY - Nail spa at home in 6 easy steps

Hey all!!
I know I haven't posted in last few days and it was because I was busy with my college works...I still am but I will try to post whenever I will get time..
Any ways today I am gonna tell you how to do nail spa at home in 6 easy steps.
Every girl wants to have pretty nails so that they can show thier friends and every one else but miss this happiness because they can't afford it because nail spa are very expensive...
But my lovely girls don't be upset... Whatever nail spa provides you.. You can do it way better without much expense.
Nails need relaxation and care so just follow my steps and your nails will enjoy the spa..
Let's start.

Step 1. Remove the nail paint from your nails if your nails are painted otherwise skip this step. (USE NAIL REMOVER WHICH HAVE VITAMIN C OR ANY OTHER ONE BUT NOT LOCAL ONES BECAUSE IT MIGHT DRY YOUR NAIL AND SKIN)
Step 2. Trim your nails, give them any shape you like I like to give my nails square or oval or round, you give them any shape you like...
Step 3. Soak your nails in warm water with rose petals, olive oil or any other oil in it. Soak it in for 15 minutes(it will give your nails and skin around the nail bed the moisture which might not be present because of excess nail paints application and it's removal )
Step 3. Dry your hands completely then remove any oil left in your hand because you don't want your nail paint not to stick to your nails..
Step 4. Now you can buffer your nail bed to remove any moisture it even gives your nails that rough bed which is nice for your next step(but keep this in mind don't do this step regularly I will advice you to do this once in a month because you don't want to your nail bed to get damaged.
Step 5. Apply top coat, don't go for the local ones as top coat is really necessary for nail beds and even to make your nail paint look pretty and to make them stay longer.
Step 6. Paint your nails with two applications of any sexy colour as for now it's fall season and I will say any dark colour like dark shade of red or blue or any other you like. Let them dry and apply top coat again...
Voila.. you are done!! nail spa at home in 6 easy steps..
Hope you like it!

3 Best Remedies for beautiful hands and feet

Hey all!!
Many of us dream of pale looking hands and feet, to make them look more beautiful, but many of our remedies fail because of few things like lack of patience, or incomplete information or lack of guidance.
So before starting your hand or feet treatments, you will need to accomplish all these three things:
And they are patience, full information and proper guidance, as simple information is useless until you get proper guidance J
So I can give you information and guidance but you have to bring patience all by yourself.
So are you ready?? If yes continue reading and if not stop it right here because without patience my information and guidance will be useless.
Okay now that you are ready, stay attentive and follow my lead J
There are three methods in my opinion that are best, they are:
  1. Simple lemon juice: As you all know that lemon juice contains Vitamin C which makes your skin exfoliate and brightens is at the same time and its continuous use can give you tremendous results. So this remedy can be done in two ways , First is directly apply lemon juice on your hands and feet and let it stay for 15 minutes and do this for 3 times in a day and second way is to use it with water(do this three times a day too), so if you are going with first one after washing it off apply a nice moisturizer because of the dryness lemon juice might cause, if you are going with second one you won’t need to worry about the dryness J( I will prefer direct juice only for oily hands not for dry hands)
  2. Chickpea flour/ gram flour also known as "besan" in Hindi: Chickpea flour is commonly used as skin whitener in our country and this is also used in weddings as ubtan with few other ingredients mixed in it, but here today we are going to use chickpea flour and lemon juice to make a paste for our hands, so in this method take about 3 tablespoons of chickpea flour and add about 2 teaspoons of lemon juice in it, and then  add some water to make it a paste, now mix it and apply to clean hands nicely covering every part of the hands and feet (it will look messy but you will surely love its result after few day use<3) let it stay for 15 to 20 minutes ,do this daily for 2 to 3 weeks and you will see its magic.
  3.  Olive oil: Olive oil massage can work wonders for skin as it contains a combination of Vitamin A and Vitamin C , apply olive oil directly on your hands and feet with a cotton ball and massage your hands with index finger of other hand(off course you knew that :P who can massage one hand with the same hands index finger loll) massage it for 15 minutes(yes!! 15 minutes is minimum) after that let it be absorbed by your skin and go to sleep(and yes do this at night before bed because you don’t want oil on your hands while you do your routine works J)

So these are your three best ways to whiten your hands<3

How to do this manicure:
1. Apply any colour of your choice on your tip of nails (if you are good with nail arts you can easily apply nail colour on your tips and If you are facing problems then you can always use tape to do perfect tip manicure), here I applied light pink on my tips, you can use a little dark nude colour too it will look decent too J
2. Draw two lines for your border of your tips with black nail paint like shown in the picture.

Say "NO" to damaged hair

 Hey all!!
I know I haven’t posted in a while…but I will post few topics which I have already saved in my draft …
So today’s topic is “say no to damaged hair”. As our generation is modern and we are completely gifted with too many technologies, we use straighteners, curlers blow, and dryers etc., which are very damaging for our hair, but to look pretty we don’t care about the cons of these tools.
So to make your hair stay healthy and good looking you will need a something right? Not a miracle but yeah natural stuff!!
And that natural thing is (drum rolls) BANANA…
Banana is very good for health, it gives you energy, it reduces morning sickness, controls blood sugar…hey wait why I am telling you benefits of banana for health..? LOLL yeah I was telling you all this to show you that bananas are very healthy, but its benefits are not only for health but skin and hairs, but today we will be talking about its hair benefits.
Banana moisturizes your hair and makes it more lustrous and shiny even smoother, and that’s what a person with damaged hair would dream of right?
So today we will be making a banana hair mask
Things you will need:
2 bananas (the more riper the more good)
tbsp. yogurt
tbsp. honey
tbsp. almond oil or you can use olive or coconut oil too (all are super good for hair)
Method:
Peel your bananas and cut it into small pieces which will be easy to blend.
Then add honey in it, add yogurt, oil and then blend it properly until smooth paste which will quite look like banana shake ..:D
Now comb our hair properly and apply this mask with your fingers or you can use dying brush so that it reaches every strand of your hair.
After applying it completely to your hair, wrap your hair in a shower cap (if you don’t have one use any plastic cover)
Let it stay for half hour and rinse it properly because you might get difficulty in washing off all the banana pieces from your hair so rinse first and then shampoo your hair after you get rid of every piece of mask
And now you will see the difference in your damaged hair because it will feel more soft shiny and lustrous.
Do this every week for best results
Hope you liked it!!
